The Doncaster PV-Ultra 2-core 4.0mm² DC cable is supplied in 100m lengths, with red and white conductors for polarity identification. It has double-insulated, cross-linked construction to BS EN 50618 Annex B, and is rated 1500V DC with a current rating of 52A. The cable is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 90°C, and its Class II insulation meets BS 7671 requirements for DC-side cabling in solar PV installations. The 100m length suits longer cable runs between roof-mounted arrays and ground or plant-room equipment.
