The Doncaster PV-Ultra 2-core 4.0mm² DC cable is supplied in 50m lengths, with red and white conductors for polarity identification. It has double-insulated, cross-linked construction with tinned annealed copper Class 5 conductors, to BS EN 50618 Annex B, and an overall diameter of 15.0mm. It is rated 1500V DC with a clipped current rating of 52A, and can operate with a maximum conductor and ambient temperature of 90°C. Its Class II insulation meets BS 7671 requirements for DC-side cabling in solar PV installations.
