The SolarEdge SE8000H is the 8kW model in the Home Wave single-phase range for France, Spain, the UK and Hong Kong, built with HD-Wave technology and designed to work with SolarEdge power optimisers. It is rated at 8000VA AC output and accepts up to 16,000W of DC power, which is 200% DC oversizing, with a maximum efficiency of 99.2% and a European weighted efficiency of 99%. It is a fixed-voltage inverter with a 480V maximum input voltage, three MC4 DC input pairs, integrated arc fault protection and built-in module-level monitoring, and it is commissioned from a smartphone with the SolarEdge SetApp. The enclosure measures 360 x 370 x 185mm (H x W x D), weighs 16.5kg, is cooled by natural convection and is rated IP65 for indoor or outdoor installation. SolarEdge quotes a 12 to 25-year warranty.
