The IQ System Controller 3 INT is a wall-mounted enclosure that combines the interconnection equipment an Enphase battery installation needs: an automatic transfer switch, an integrated IQ Gateway, and production and consumption current transformers, pre-wired into one IP55 unit. It supports single-phase or three-phase configurations, switching a home from grid to backup power in around 120ms when a supply outage is detected, and manages up to 100A per phase on a single-phase supply (80A three-phase) across the grid, PV/battery and backup load connections. It is designed to work with IQ Battery 5P storage and IQ7 or IQ8 series microinverters, and includes a system shutdown switch and a cellular Mobile Connect modem for backup internet connectivity. The enclosure measures 760 x 500 x 158mm, weighs 15.2kg, and is rated for outdoor mounting from -40°C to 45°C.
