The Fox ESS AC1-3.7-E-G2 is a single-phase AC-coupled charger-inverter, part of the H1/AC1 (G2) range. It has no PV input of its own: it connects on the AC side of an existing solar installation and charges and discharges a Fox ESS high-voltage battery stack, making it suited to retrofitting battery storage onto a property that already has a separate PV inverter. Rated output is 3.68kW with a maximum efficiency of 97.08%, and it includes EPS (emergency power supply) backup output for use during a grid outage. The wall-mounted, IP65-rated enclosure is built for outdoor installation, with standby consumption under 15W and remote monitoring through FoxCloud.
