The Fox ESS ECS2900 (CS2900) is a slave expansion module for Fox's ECS high-voltage battery range, storing 2.88kWh and connecting in series behind a CM2900 master module - up to 6 slaves per stack for a maximum 20.16kWh system. The LiFePO4 prismatic-cell pack is rated IP65 for indoor or outdoor stand installation, with a 90% usable depth of discharge and a rated cycle life of 6000 cycles. Unlike the master module it carries a single status LED rather than its own communication electronics, taking its CAN/RS485 link from the master.
