The EQ5000-M is the master module of Fox ESS's EQ5000 high-voltage battery range, holding 4.92kWh of LFP storage along with the stack's BMS and communications electronics. It is always the first module installed, with up to five EQ5000-S slave modules added in series behind it for a maximum of 29.52kWh. The module is rated for 90% depth of discharge with a round-trip efficiency above 95%, and communicates with the inverter over CAN. Suited to residential systems, including Fox ESS's PQ1 stackable all-in-one inverters, that build up high-voltage storage from a common battery platform.
