The Fox ESS S1500-G3 is a 1.5kW single-phase PV inverter from the latest G3 generation, designed for small residential and light commercial installations. It features a single MPPT tracker with an ultra-low 60V start-up voltage and operates across a wide 160–450V DC input window, handling arrays up to 2250W. The inverter achieves 97.3% maximum efficiency in a compact, naturally cooled IP65-rated metal enclosure measuring 290×220×116mm and weighing 5.4kg. It is wall-mounted and suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. Remote monitoring is available via FoxCloud V2.0 app and web portal using optional WiFi or built-in RS485 connectivity. String current monitoring and anti-islanding protection ensure reliable grid-connected operation.
