The Fox ESS CQ16 is a high-voltage LiFePO4 battery module with a nominal energy of 16.07kWh and nominal voltage of 51.2V, DC-coupled to a compatible Fox ESS high-voltage hybrid inverter (such as the H3 Plus range) via a dedicated Fox ESS High-Voltage Control Box (CQ BOX), one of which is required per system. Modules stack vertically, floor-mounted indoors, from a minimum of 4 up to 15 in series, scaling a single system from roughly 64kWh to over 240kWh. The battery offers 90% usable depth of discharge, intelligent air cooling, IP20 ingress protection, and a built-in fire protection function, with CAN communication to the control box.
