The Fox ESS CQ7-S-80 is a slave expansion module for the CQ7 high-voltage battery system, with a nominal capacity of 7.02kWh. It is always installed alongside one CQ7-M-80 master module, which carries the stack's communication and display interface; additional slave modules extend a system up to a maximum of 14 modules in series (98.28kWh total). DC-coupled to a compatible Fox ESS high-voltage hybrid inverter via the master module, it shares the same 90% depth of discharge, over 95% round-trip efficiency, IP65 enclosure and fire protection function as the rest of the CQ7 range.
