The PQ1-5.0 is Fox ESS's stackable all-in-one single-phase hybrid inverter for residential energy storage, rated at 5.0kW AC output with 16kW maximum PV array input across two independent MPP trackers. It features a 4ms seamless switchover to battery backup, natural cooling with noise under 35dB, and floor-mounted IP65 rating for indoor or outdoor use. The inverter achieves 97.62% peak and 97.20% European efficiency, supports battery voltages from 80V to 500V, and is designed for single-person installation as the head unit of a stackable battery system. Remote monitoring is available through FoxCloud with Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth and optional 4G connectivity.
