The Schletter galvanised wood screw is an 8 x 80mm flat-head fastener with a TORX T-30 drive, supplied for fixing Schletter solar mounting rail systems to timber roof structures on pitched roofs. Its galvanised steel finish is intended to resist corrosion during long-term outdoor exposure once the screw is driven into the roof timber. The flat head shape and 80mm length suit standard rafter and batten fixing depths used in pitched-roof solar mounting, and the TORX T-30 drive requires a matching TORX bit to install.
