The GSE In-Roof Screw (ART106051) is a 6.5 x 60mm self-drilling fastener for the GSE In-Roof mounting system, used to fix mounting rails to wooden roof structures with either vertical counter battens or horizontal support battens. It is made from stainless steel A2 and fitted with an EPDM washer to seal the fixing point against water ingress, and is supplied with a black finish. Being self-drilling, it can be driven directly into timber without a pilot hole. It is documented in GSE's In-Roof System installation manual (revision V13.1) alongside the rest of the mounting hardware for this system.
