Hex Head Bolt HDG

This is a hexagon head bolt to ISO 4017, the standard covering hexagon head bolts threaded up the full length of the shank (equivalent to DIN 933). It measures M12 in diameter with a 30mm length and a hot-dip galvanized finish for corrosion resistance outdoors. For the M12 size, ISO 4017 specifies a 1.75mm thread pitch, an 18mm nominal width across flats and a 7.5mm nominal head height, so it takes a standard 18mm spanner or socket. Fully threaded bolts of this type are commonly used with a matching nut and washer to clamp mounting brackets, rails and structural components together in ground-mounted and rooftop solar arrays, where the galvanized coating withstands prolonged outdoor exposure.
