This is the power module for Huawei's LUNA2000 smart string energy storage system: a 12kg unit that mounts on top of the battery stack, housing the DC/DC conversion and battery management electronics that let LUNA2000-5-E0 battery modules connect to a compatible Huawei SUN2000 string inverter. Paired with one battery module it forms a LUNA2000-5-S0 system delivering up to 2.5kW (3.5kW peak for ten seconds) at a nominal 360V on single-phase systems or 600V on three-phase systems; up to three battery modules can be added under one power module for 15kWh of storage. The module communicates over RS485 or CAN, is rated IP66 for outdoor installation, and carries a 10-year warranty. Compatible with Huawei's SUN2000 single and three-phase string inverter ranges.
