The K2 hexagonal socket head cap screw is an M8 x 20mm bolt with a serrated underhead, made from stainless steel A2 for corrosion resistance in outdoor installations. It has a 6mm hexagonal socket drive and conforms to ISO 4762 (DIN 912) standards for socket head cap screws. The serrated underhead is designed to bite into the mating surface, increasing resistance to loosening under vibration. It is documented in K2's D-Dome 2.0 assembly instructions, where it is used to fasten components of the K2 D-Dome flat-roof mounting system.
