The K2 MK2 insertion nut with clip is an M8 threaded nut for use with K2 solar mounting rail systems. Its integral clip lets it be inserted into the rail's slot and held in place by the clip, without needing a pre-positioned nut before the rail is assembled. It is made from stainless steel 1.4301 with a TPC coating for corrosion resistance, and weighs 17g. The TPC coating supplements the stainless steel's own corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor use. It is documented in K2's MD22 product datasheet for the 1001643 part number.
