This K2 thread-forming (self-tapping) metal screw is used to fix K2 MultiRail components directly to steel or aluminium roof sheeting, without a pre-cut thread, for sheet thicknesses from 0.4mm to 1.25mm. It has a hexagonal head with a hexagon socket drive and an integral EPDM sealing washer to keep the fixing watertight. It is 25mm long, made from stainless steel (A2), weighs 0.008kg, and is supplied in packs of 160. It carries general technical approval (listed on its catalogue page as abZ Z-14.1-4, Z-14.1-537 and ETA 21/0306), and is used with K2's MultiRail mounting system.
