This twin pack contains one Staubli MC4 plug (32.0014P0001-URFL) and one matching socket (32.0015P0001-URFL), the manufacturer's original open-crimp MC4 connector for 6mm² solar cable with a 5.0-6.0mm outer diameter. The pair is approved to DC 1100V under IEC 62852 at 39A, and to DC 1500V under UL 6703 at 35A (12AWG). Proven MULTILAM contact technology keeps contact resistance below 0.25mΩ throughout the connector's service life. Mated connectors are rated IP65/IP68 for one metre, one hour of submersion, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, suiting rooftop and ground-mount PV strings in all UK weather. A crimping tool is required for assembly; standard MC4 tools apply to this generation of connector.
