Original Staubli MC4 male connector (plug, type PV-KST4/6I-UR) with open crimp contacts, for PV cable with a 5.0-6.0mm outer diameter and a 4-6mm² conductor. It is rated 39A at 1100V DC under IEC 62852, or up to 50A at 1500V DC under UL 6703 when fitted to 6mm²/10AWG cable. It uses the same MULTILAM contact technology as the matching female connector for consistently low contact resistance, and mates to form an IP65/IP68 rated connection. It is certified to IEC 62852, UL 6703 and TÜV Rheinland standards. A matching crimp tool and cable within the specified diameter range are needed for correct assembly.
