Mid Clamps - Caphead

This Solarport mid clamp secures two adjacent solar panels to the same mounting rail, sitting between the panels' frames and clamping down on both at once. It is supplied pre-assembled with an M8 stainless steel caphead bolt and a channel nut already fitted, so the installer only needs to slide it into the rail channel, position it between the two panel frames, and tighten the bolt. The clamp body is aluminium, giving a lightweight but rigid fitting that resists corrosion over the working life of the array. It is used with Solarport's rail-based mounting systems for both ground-mounted and rooftop solar installations, wherever two panels sit edge to edge along the same rail.
