The SolarEdge Module Temperature Sensor (SE1000-SEN-TMOD-S2) measures the back-of-module temperature of PV panels over a -40 to 90°C range, giving a 4-20mA output signal accurate to 1% of full scale. It connects to a SolarEdge Commercial Gateway (SE1000-CCG-G-S1, sold separately) for integration into SolarEdge's monitoring platform, where module temperature readings feed the site's performance ratio calculation. The sensor is housed in a powder-coated aluminium enclosure measuring 64 x 58 x 34mm and weighing 350g, is IP67-rated, and operates from -40 to 80°C. It is manufactured for SolarEdge by Ingenieurbüro Mencke & Tegtmeyer GmbH (part number Tm-I-4090).
