DEHNguard YPV SCI 600 is a multipole surge arrester with three-step DC switching device for photovoltaic systems up to 600V DC. Features patented SCI (safe electrical isolation) technology combining disconnection and short-circuiting with active arc extinction capability. Fault-resistant Y circuit prevents damage during insulation faults in the generator circuit. Nominal discharge current 12.5 kA from total 40 kA discharge with voltage protection level 2.5 kV. Response time 25 ns or less. Compact design with 3 modules weighing 275g. Operating temperature -40°C to +80°C. Certified to EN 61643-31, IEC 61643-31, KEMA and UL standards.
