This is a 50-metre steel wire armoured cable assembly built for wiring a home battery to its inverter in one run, combining the 3-core 16.0mm² power conductors, a 2-core 12V supply and a screened 2-core data pair inside a single sheath. The power cores use plain annealed copper to BS EN 60228 with thermosetting XLPE insulation; the data pair has a high-coverage tinned copper screen and drain wire for reliable communication between the battery and inverter. A CarbonTek outer jacket gives resistance to impact, abrasion, temperature and UV for both indoor and outdoor routing. Supplying power, low-voltage control and data in one cable removes the need for separate first-fix runs between the battery and inverter positions, simplifying installation on residential storage retrofits. Sold as a continuous 50m length, cut to size on site.
