PROTEUS Metalclad 4 Module Enclosure

This is a small steel-cased (metalclad) enclosure sized for 4 modules, with a flush-fitting, spring-hinged door and a matt white powder-coated finish. It is rated IP4Xc and measures 260 x 182 x 113mm, giving a compact, non-combustible housing for switchgear that needs to sit close to a battery bank or inverter rather than exposed. Proteus backs the enclosure with a 10-year guarantee and it is built to BS EN 61439 parts 1 and 3. As supplied by the manufacturer it is intended for distribution circuits through MCBs and RCBOs; check the fitted rating of any isolator or breaker installed inside against the DC voltage and current of the battery circuit before use.
