The S4 RooFit Flashing Hook is a hook plate fitting used within the S4 RooFit building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) roof system. Its function is flashing attachment: it provides a fixing point so that side and top flashing strips can be secured in place around a roof-integrated solar installation. It is a small component of the wider S4 RooFit system, used together with the S4 Universal Frame and the system's other flashing and mounting parts to complete the weatherproofing around the edges of an in-roof array.
