The SolarEdge SE17K is a 17kW three-phase inverter from SolarEdge's SetApp range for Europe, designed to work with SolarEdge power optimisers. It delivers a rated 17000W AC output on a 400/230V three-phase supply with neutral and accepts up to 22950W of PV array power (module STC), with a maximum input voltage of 1000V DC and a maximum input current of 23A. Maximum efficiency is 98%, with a European weighted efficiency of 97.7%. The inverter is commissioned from a smartphone using the SolarEdge SetApp and communicates over RS485 or Ethernet, with Wi-Fi (an additional component) and cellular as options. Arc fault protection is integrated. The fan-cooled unit measures 549 x 317 x 264mm, weighs 30.7kg and is rated IP65 for indoor or outdoor mounting. Its datasheet lists the UK G99 grid connection standard.
