The SolarEdge Home Load Controller (SEM-DCS-R08-00) optimises self-consumption by switching permanently connected appliances according to available solar power, and can also shed non-essential loads during backup operation. It includes two independently controlled dry contact switches - a normally open contact rated up to 8A and a normally closed contact rated up to 4A - suitable for switching larger single or three-phase loads via an external contactor. It connects wirelessly to the inverter over the SolarEdge Home Network at 863-870MHz, is DIN-rail mountable at 100 x 50 x 35mm, carries an IP30 rating and is covered by a five-year warranty.
