The SolarEdge Home Network Plug-in (ENET-HBCL-01) fits into the free cellular socket of a SetApp-enabled SolarEdge inverter that is not already SolarEdge Home Network-ready, adding it to SolarEdge's wireless mesh network. Once fitted with its supplied external antenna, it links the inverter to other Home Network devices such as an inline energy meter or a Home Hot Water Controller without running extra cables, using a long-range mesh radio link rather than a single point-to-point connection. Installation is by a qualified installer only: the inverter is isolated, the plug-in is fitted to the dedicated socket on the communication board, and the connection is verified through SetApp. The plug-in operates at 863-870MHz in the UK and EU and is covered by SolarEdge's five-year communication accessory warranty.
