The SolarEdge Home Smart Switch (SEM-SWT-R16-00) controls a dedicated, permanently connected appliance to maximise self-consumption of solar power and can extend backup run time by shedding the load it controls. It switches a single-pole, 16A relay rated for a wide 90-250Vac supply and connects wirelessly to the inverter over the SolarEdge Home Network at 868-868.6MHz. The unit is DIN-rail mountable at 100 x 50 x 35mm, includes a built-in ambient temperature sensor accurate to ±0.5°C, carries an IP30 rating for indoor use, and is covered by a five-year warranty.
