The SolaX X1 EPS Box integrates two contactors to simplify the wiring between a single-phase SolaX inverter, the grid and the home's loads, enabling intelligent switching between on-grid and off-grid (EPS) operation. Paired with a compatible X1 inverter and battery, it is designed for whole-home backup rather than a single limited-backup circuit, switching over in around 0.5 seconds. It is rated for 63A on the grid side and 32A in EPS mode at 230V, and is housed in an IP65 enclosure measuring 300 x 220 x 170mm and weighing 3.5kg, suitable for indoor or outdoor installation alongside the inverter.
