This is a SPAX Hi.Force washer-head wood screw measuring 6.0mm in diameter and 80mm long, made from A2 stainless steel for use in exposed and damp locations without rusting or staining timber. The wide washer head spreads clamping load over a larger area than a standard countersunk head, which suits fixing timber battens, decking substructure and solar panel mounting components where a countersunk head is not needed. It drives with a T-Star Plus T30 bit, a star-profile drive designed to resist cam-out under the higher torque these larger screws need. Supplied in a pack of 100, it is a general-purpose structural wood screw suited to outdoor timber fixing tasks including solar mounting frames on timber substructures.
