The SolarEdge SE5000H StorEdge AC Coupled inverter adds battery storage to an existing PV system, working alongside a SolarEdge three-phase inverter or a non-SolarEdge PV inverter rather than replacing it. It does not accept power optimisers or work as a standalone solar inverter. Built on SolarEdge's HD-Wave technology, it delivers a rated 5000VA AC output, reaching 99.2% peak and 99% European weighted efficiency, and is commissioned entirely from a smartphone using the SolarEdge SetApp. It is compatible with the StorEdge Interface and selected third-party battery packs such as the LG Chem RESU10H. The unit measures 280 x 370 x 142mm, weighs 9kg, is naturally cooled, carries an IP65 rating for indoor or outdoor mounting, and is covered by a 12-year product warranty, extendable to 25 years.
