The SolarEdge Synergy Unit is the modular power-conversion block that, together with a Synergy Manager, forms a complete SolarEdge three-phase commercial inverter. Each inverter consists of two or three Synergy Units and one Synergy Manager; each unit operates independently and is mounted separately, for easy two-person installation and serviceability. It accepts a DC input of up to 1000V DC+ to DC- (680-1000V operating range), with ground-fault isolation detection and reverse-polarity protection built in. DC connections are MC4 or gland, depending on part number. Cooling is by a user-replaceable fan, and the unit is IP65-rated for indoor or outdoor fitting from -40 to +60°C. This variant has no rapid shutdown device fitted; it measures 558 x 328 x 273mm and weighs 32kg.
