The SolarEdge Wind Velocity Sensor (SE1000-SEN-WIND-S1) measures horizontal wind speed at the installation site over a 0-50 m/s range, giving a 4-20mA output signal accurate to ±0.5 m/s or ±3% of the measured value. It connects to a SolarEdge Commercial Gateway (SE1000-CCG-G-S1, sold separately) for integration into SolarEdge's monitoring platform, where wind readings support site performance analysis. The cup-anemometer sensor has an aluminium housing with synthetic cups and base, measures 165 x 105 x 105mm, weighs 750g, is IP55-rated, and operates from 0 to 70°C. It is manufactured for SolarEdge by Ingenieurbüro Mencke & Tegtmeyer GmbH (part number Vwind-420).
