The K2 BasicClip is a fixing clip for mounting K2 BasicRail directly onto trapezoidal sheet metal roofing, without a separate mounting rail connection. Each clip is fastened to the sheet metal with two thread-forming screws (6 x 38mm), and the BasicRail then clips onto it, giving a quick, low-profile fixing suited to standing-seam and trapezoidal roof profiles. It is moulded from UV-resistant glass-fibre reinforced polyamide and carries general technical approval. It weighs 0.022kg and is supplied in packs of 500. It is used with K2's BasicRail and InsertionRail mounting systems, and is named directly, as BasicClip, in K2's BasicRail System assembly instructions.
