The Stäubli MC4-Evo 2 in-line fuse (order no. 32.0330, type PV-K/1500ILF3-20/6E) is a DC string-level overcurrent protection device rated at 20A for photovoltaic systems up to 1500V. It is pre-terminated with 0.59m of 6.0mm² cable and sealed, factory-crimped MC4-Evo 2 connectors at each end, rated IP65 mated and IP68 for one metre, one hour of immersion. The unit is designed as a plug-and-play addition to an existing DC string, without extra tools or splicing. It is rated for an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +50°C and carries a test voltage of 8kV, with TÜV Rheinland certification to 2PfG 2380 for use in outdoor PV installations.
